Eva Turner Collection

The first British soprano of the 20th-century to gain an international reputation, Dame Eva donated her collection of costumes, headdresses, stage jewellery, photographs, press reviews of her appearances in Italy, some scores, and non-theatrical memorabilia. Further material was donated by her family following Dame Eva’s death. The costume collection was conserved through the generosity of The Friends of Covent Garden.
