Description: |
Dress with a pale brown boned bodice of watermarked taffeta, which has a short frilled peplum. The dress has a V neck edged in lace with a brown velvet bow at the centre, and a single row of velvet covered buttons down the centre front. The short wide sleeves are edged in bronze braid, as is the bodice. There are inner long sleeves of blue rayon. The full-length skirt of pale brown watermarked taffeta has a scalloped edge trimmed in bronze braid. The skirt is caught and slashed at the left side, exposing underskirt, and highlighted with a large bow. Worn with cape ROH/PRO/COS/0002788 and underskirt ROH/PRO/COS/0002789. |
